For 1920’s, 30’s or 40’s theme nights, swing dances or other large functions, the “Big Band” combo is for you!

Peter can arrange the Australian Cotton Club Orchestra or the JW Swing Orchestra to provide a sensational atmosphere. They are both among the top orchestras around playing the music of these periods. For a night that recreates an era of gangsters, flappers & Harlem speakeasies,

The Cotton Club is a 12 piece group playing mainly 1920’s & 30’s, hot jazz and popular music. They have performed at the openings of many major stage musicals including “Chicago”, “Forty-Second St” & “Sunset Boulevarde” as well as the opening of the Regent Theatre itself! The JW band weighs in at 16 pieces playing hits from the swing era through to Sinatra, as danced to by G.I’s, bobbysoxers, jitterbugs and hep-cats of all kinds. This band played for the premiere of the film “Pearl Harbour” and for a number of balls for the Swing dance groups of Melbourne. Both bands have recorded highly regarded CD’s. If desired, an exhibition of swing dancing can be included as part of the show.
